Tiny tiny things I love to do in my Geneva mornings...

Lately, in Verbier, Chris V. told us about his little pleasures...
Those tiny tiny things noone can take from us
Those tiny tiny things we usually refrain from talking about because they sound so petty
Those tiny tiny things we smile about and think "how can that be so uplifting?"
Those tiny tiny things...
Come on you know!

5) Throwing the caps of my hotel's liquid soap bottle in the sink from the shower
4) Matching tie, shirt, scarf, belt and shoes! Seeing as I'm at the client's every day now...
3) Trying to get the hotel girl to laugh on my way out: Karin ou Anne... The guy, I don't know his first name, always smiles, but somehow never laughs...
2) Adjusting my shower tap so it fits to my size like a microphone and start singing some song*

... Aaaaaaand ... Drum roll ...

1) Hide the remote**.
See the remote control is always on the right side of the bed in the evening.
And I sleep on the left side***.
And I think it's annoying.
And I came to the conclusion that if she wouldn't leave the remote where it is, i.e. on the right side, then I wouldn't let her get away with it that easily. So now, in the morning I place the remote in some funny place: Last time I played it was in a shoe, first time I won (last wednesday) I had put it in the inside pocket of a vest...

Voilà, hope you don't think I am too much off the hook...

* "And I stress the word "artist"" - who can tell me what movie that comes from?
** remote control = télécommande
*** Some girls think I am an old grumpy grandpa for knowing my side already and sticking to it a bit stubbornly, but you know being an old grumpy grandpa has its positive aspects: I don't give a damn...

Connaître le côté de son lit est tout à fait naturel, j'ai le mien aussi. Cependant j'ai remarqué qu'il est en général inversé lorsque je suis à l'hôtel, why? Don't know... maybe the phone...
