About a book...
About the books I sometimes talk about, extract of the thoughts I recently gave to someone who was reading a few of them...
My cherished "Leadership from the inside out"
The very Hollywoodian "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff... Simple Ways to Keep the Little Things from Taking Over Your Life"
Yet another guru pointer "The Power of Now. A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment"
Or even the secret of success "The secret of success" :-)
Most of these books end up saying the same "be true, be yourself, be zen"
But it's often more about reading them with an open mind, than reading them at all...
Pause for a moment and think about this maxime:
"Der gemeine Mann hält bei seinem Kirchengehen und Bibellesen die Mittel für Zweck." Georg Christoph Lichtenberg
How does this apply to all those "Must Dos" in one's/your life?
Does your heart go into your love or is an habit?
Do your brains go into your work or is it mechanical?
Do your guts do a funky waltz, when you play and party... Or do you socialize because it is meant to be done?
Let's do something: Live fully for a couple of days... Put yourself on the line for every detail, help out, make a difference!
That's when you'll feel good... intrisically!
Ciao, P
